
Kevin Hart and Netflix have developed a profitable and successful partnership over the past few years. Hart’s next film on the network, the comedy-heist flick Lift, will carry on in the same spirit. Lift will be available on Netflix this Summer on August 25, 2023, it has confirmed thanks to the publication of the Netflix film schedule.
What’s the plot of Lift?

Kevin Hart will play a skilled thief convinced to carry off an impossibly difficult heist with his multinational gang on a 777 traveling from London to Zurich by the FBI and his ex-girlfriend.

Who is in the Lift cast?
Only Kevin Hart known to a member of Netflix’s Lift cast as of October 2021. In January 2021, Kevin Hart famously agreed to a deal with Netflix to develop four exclusive movies for the streaming service through his production company, Hart Beat.
This agreement compared to the Adam Sandler deals in terms of scale.
Sam Worthington gained even more success with the most recent Avatar sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, which has earned over $2 billion at global box offices, thirteen years after he starred in the first Avatar. Worthington previously acted in The Titan and Fractured, two Netflix movies.
Fans of Netflix will know the imposing Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin from the Netflix Daredevil series, a role he later played in the Disney+ series Hawkeye. Additionally, D’Oonforio has been in the Netflix movies The Unforgivable and El Camino Christmas and the Netflix series Retched.
Everyone may excused for not immediately identifying Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby from Peaky Blinders without the recognizable mustache. Lift will be Anderson’s first Netflix production besides the well-liked British drama.

What’s the production status?
Official Status of Production: Post-Production (Updated on January 26, 2023) Between February 18 and May 25, 2022, there was filming.
Filming was taking place in Belfast, according to a March 2022 announcement by BelfastLive. The story claims that Hart gave a live performance in early March 2022 while shooting at a nearby comedy club.
Where they are filming in Belfast is described on the local website as follows:
Harte seen leaving the neighboring Europa Hotel. At the same time, work being done outside the historic establishment of The Crown Liquor Saloon on Great Victoria Street.
Most of the filming reportedly taking place at Belfast’s Harbour Studios, where The School for Good and Evil from Netflix filmed.
